Primary 5 French

by all of Primary 5

Today in French we used cards to find a partner and we had a conversation to find out their name. We said, "Salut" or "Bonjour" and then we asked them their name.

We learned how to say "What is her name?" - Comment s'appelle-t-elle? and "What is his name? - Comment s'appelle-t-il?
The answer was Elle s'appelle ..... and Il s'appelle .......

We can now meet a French speaking person and say hello, how are you, what is your name, what is his name, what is her name and goodbye! We feel ça va trés bien!!

Salut!

We go round asking questions until we find the person who has the same card as we do. Then we sit down together.

Bonjour Primary 5

Well done to all of you. Tahnks to Rachel for answering Mr Johnston's question. I wondered how that worked too. Do you have to ask the questions in French?
